Beach Volleyball

2023 (Sophomore): Pabon played in one of Tech’s 20 matches during its inaugural beach campaign, finishing 1-0 overall… went 1-0 in the No. 5 position on the year… competed with Katie DiRaimondo (1-0) in her lone match of the year… made her collegiate debut and won her only action of the season with a 2-0 decision teaming up with DiRaimondo against Bob Jones University (Feb. 25).

High School: Pabon played two years as a middle blocker for head coach Roni Hipp at Riverdale High School in Fort Myers, Fla. While dual-enrolled at Lee Virtual School and Florida Gulf Coast University… as a senior, registered 89 kills, 31 service aces, 17 blocks, and 25 digs while hitting .320… played her sophomore season for head coach J.D. Malone at Southwest Florida Christian Academy and her freshman campaign on the SFCA junior varsity squad, her first year of competitive volleyball… tallied 12 kills, 21 blocks, and 61 assists as a sophomore… totaled more than 100 kills, 40 blocks, 30 aces, and 30 digs in her high school career.

Personal: Daughter of Anthony and Dawna Pabon… born in Fort Myers, Fla. on April 21, 2003… full name is Emma Grace Pabon… sister, Hannah, played volleyball at Florida SouthWestern State College from 2019-20… while taking classes through FGCU, was a member of the Honors College and named to the 2020 FGCU President’s List.

Academic: Majoring in biology… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll four times and to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once.
