Beach Volleyball

2023 (Sophomore): Amann took part in all 20 matches of Tech’s inaugural beach campaign, finishing 8-10 overall with a 5-5 mark in OVC play… ended the year 0-2 at No. 2, 6-7 in the No. 3 slot, and 2-1 as the No. 4 duo… competed with Maddie Isringhausen (6-7, 5-5 OVC), McKenna Young (2-2), and Jordan Karlen (0-1) during the season… paired with Isringhausen in the No. 3 slot for the final 11 matches of the year, including all four contests in the OVC Tournament… made her collegiate debut with Young in the No. 3 position against Spartanburg Methodist (Feb. 24)… earned her first career win with Young in the No. 4 dual at Berry College (Feb. 25)… clinched Tech’s first OVC Tournament victory in program history with Isringhausen behind the decisive, 2-0 win over Lindenwood (Apr. 27).

High School: Amann was a four-year letterwinner at Woodstock North High School in Woodstock, Ill., playing her final three seasons for head coach Eric Schulze… collected Northwest Herald All-Area Team and Champaign New Gazette All-State Second Team honors… named a 2019 Under Armour All-American honoree and AVCA High School All-Region member… the 2018 Kishwaukee River Conference Player of the Year, named to the All-Conference Team three times… helped lead WNHS to two IHSA Class 3A Regional titles… tallied 1,354 kills, 919 digs, 190 service aces, and 81 total blocks during her career… set school records for kills per match, season kills, career kills, aces in a match, season, and career, and career digs.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Debbie Amann… born in Wonder Lake, Ill. on May 14, 2002… full name is Brooke Amann.

Academic: Majoring in exercise science and physical wellness with a concentration in sports administration… named to the 2021 ICCAC Fall All-Academic Second Team and 2022 ICCAC Spring All-Academic Second Team… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once.
