COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech's women's basketball game
at Morehead State that was originally scheduled for Wednesday night
has been postponed until Thursday (Feb. 19). The game will tipoff
at 5 p.m. CT in Johnson Arena on the MSU campus.
The move to Thursday night was made due to inclement winter weather across the South over the past two days, with more forecast for Tuesday night and Wednesday. The one-day delay was made "due to heavy snow and temperatures below freezing...it took into consideration the safety of fans, student-athletes, coaches, officials and game operations personnel," according to a statement from Morehead State Athletics.
Additionally, the Golden Eagle baseball game slated for Wednesday against Tennessee has also been postponed. A rescheduled date and time for the matchup at Lindsey Nelson Stadium will be announced once available.
