COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --Tennessee Tech baseball and softball fans will
have the opportunity to watch a combined 31 home games live via
webstreams on the OVC Digital Network this spring. All of the
webcasts will be produced by the Golden Eagle Sports Network, and
can be seen around the world for free.
Golden Eagle baseball and softball webcasts on the OVCDN were
introduced in 2012, and Tennessee Tech was among league leaders in
production variety and viewership. Each webcast features
multi-camera productions, instant replay, informative graphics and
other special features including in-game interviews. TTU Sports
Information Video Coordinators Marc Graham and Tom Hollander serve
as the directors and producers of each webcast, with production
assistance from student crew members.
For the second year, Dylan Vazzano will provide the on-air calls
for all of the games. Former Golden Eagle football standout Marty
Jones will provide color commentary.
The schedule of webcasts includes every home softball game
during the regular season, a total of 14 games on eight different
days. The schedule of baseball games to be aired includes 17 home
games on 17 different dates.
The webstream schedule could be altered by weather conditions
throughout the season. Updates will be posted on TTUsports.com.
Through the past few years, the Golden Eagle Sports Network has
produced webcasts for the OVC Digital Network of nearly every home
volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball and softball game, and has
worked with WCTE TV to place the station's broadcasts of football
and select basketball games on the OVCDN. The Golden Eagle Sports
Network also produces the weekly Watson Brown Show which airs on
the league's digital network, along with other programming such as
football signing day and the new video board in Eblen Center.
