Softball, baseball teams to host Legends events May 3-4

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Former players from the Tennessee Tech softball and baseball programs are invited back to campus on the weekend of May 3-4, to participate in the two teams' annual Legends Days. The softball team is hosting Legends Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, while the baseball team entertains its alumni with Legends Day on Sunday.

The Golden Eagle softball team hosts Morehead State in a three-game series, with a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. and a single game on Sunday, also starting at 1 p.m. 

The baseball squad hosts a single Sunday afternoon game with Lipscomb University, starting at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, all alumni from both programs will join in a cookout begining at 12 p.m. Just before the start of the softball game, all alumni from the softball program will be introducted and recognized on the field. Over at the baseball field, the same will occur for all baseball alumni just prior the 2 p.m. first pitch
