COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- With the Ohio Valley Conference basketball
doubleheader against Murray State just a day away, less than 800
tickets remain on sale at the Tennessee Tech Athletics Ticket
Office. The ticket office will be open Friday from 8 a.m. until
noon, and from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, men's basketball coach Steve Payne has issued an
invitation to Tennessee Tech students, faculty and staff, as well
as all of the team's fans, to watch the Golden Eagles practice
Friday afternoon in Eblen Center. The team's final tuneup before
hosting No. 12 Murray State, will begin at 2:30 p.m.
The Racers improved to 27-1 overall (14-1 OVC) and tuned up for
their game against Payne's Golden Eagles by claiming an 80-62
victory at Tennessee State Thursday night. It was the TSU Tigers
who handed MSU its only loss of the year two weeks ago in
Murray.
