Large turnout greets Purple Pride Caravan in Monterey

MONTEREY, Tenn. -- A large turnout made the Purple Pride Caravan stop at the Monterey Sav-a-lot a big success Tuesday afternoon. Head coaches Watson Brown (football), Matt Bragga (baseball) and John Blair (volleyball) were among the Tech personnel on hand to greet Tennessee Tech fans who enjoyed free hot dogs and Pepsi drinks.

In addition to handing out free tickets to the Golden Eagle football home opener on Thursday, Sept. 16, members of the Tech Athletics staff, the Sav-a-lot store and Magic 98.5 drew names for prizes including an autographed TTU football helmet and game jersey.
