Will Copeland, a graduate of East Tennessee State University, has joined the Tennessee Tech University Athletics staff as a Coordinator of Facilities and Events.

In his position at Tech, Copeland will help with all game management for Tech's home basketball and football games, as well as soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and tennis. He also will assist in the maintenance all of Tech's athletic facilities.

A native of Ringgold, Ga., Copeland graduated in May from ETSU with a degree in sports and leisure management. As an undergraduate, he filled an internship in the Buccaneer marketing and promotions office, working in event planning and preparation, in-game promotions, fundraising, ticket sales and game day activities. He was also part of a student group that developed a marketing strategy for the Roan Scholarship Program.

Prior to attending ETSU, Copeland attended Boyd Buchanan School in Chattanooga, where he was a member of the golf team. He also filled a variety of volunteer roles during his prep career.
