Week's Achievements: Johns kept his hot play rolling during Tech's five-game week, batting .500 with 10 hits. He drove in seven runs while scoring three more and blasting one home run. The UCLA transfer finished 2-for-4 with at least one RBI in all five contests while playing four different positions.

Raven Smith
Track & Field | SR | Atlanta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Smith earned a fourth-place finish at the Louisville Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational in the triple jump, turning in her third-best distance of the year. Her mark of 12.26 meters represented her second time clearing 40 feet in the event. 

April 15 - April 21

John Dyer
Baseball | FR | INF | Mt. Juliet, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Dyer mashed the ball all week, batting .529 with 10 RBI and eight runs scored in four games. Against Alabama A&M, the rookie hammered a pair of home runs to finish 4-for-6 with seven RBI and four runs scored. He tallied three doubles on the week as well.

Khemani Roberts
Track & Field | SR | Bon Accord, Trinidad and Tobago

Week's Achievements: Roberts established yet another program mark, placing second overall in the heptathlon at the Virginia Challenge. She posted 5,482 points, more than 100 better than her previous school record. She placed first in the high jump and 200-meters to set her up for the record.

April 8 - April 14

Bryce Beeler
Golf | FR | Maryville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Beeler earned individual medalist honors at the Big Blue Intercollegiate, setting a program freshman record for 54 holes with a 208. He collected 11 birdies while finishing 5-under while competing as an individual among 87 participants.

Alyssa Arden
Softball | FR | RHP | Goodlettsville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Arden tossed her third complete-game no-hitter of the year to earn a win over Jacksonville State. The rookie struck out eight in the contest and walked just three. She earned a second win in relief against Tennessee State and tossed 22.0 innings with 21 Ks on the week.

Caleb Morgan
Baseball | JR | RHP | Grenada, Miss.

Week's Achievements: Morgan was special out of the bullpen for Tech in both games of a doubleheader, totaling five and one third innings while striking out nine and not allowing a run. He scattered three hits and two walks with eight Ks in four and two thirds frames in the second contest.

Khemani Roberts
Track & Field | SR | Bon Accord, Trinidad and Tobago

Week's Achievements: Roberts clinched a new program record in the long jump at the Western Kentucky Hilltopper Relays, finishing second among 19 athletes. She lept a distance of 5.96 meters, breaking her own mark of 5.88 meters.

March 25 - March 31

Kevin Strohschein
Baseball | SR | OF | McDonough, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Strohschein proved nearly impossible to get out at Jacksonville State, slashing .769/.813/1.385 in three games. He tallied at least three hits in each game, crushing two home runs for four RBI as part of a 4-for-5 showing on Mar. 30 and tallied six runs and five RBI for the week.

Purity Sanga
Track & Field | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga shattered the program's record for 10,000-meters at the NC State Raleigh Relays, finishing with a time of 34:13.02. The mark clocked in more than 12 seconds better than the previous record. Sanga finished 11th whle posting the OVC's best time in the event.

John Dyer
Baseball | FR | INF | Mt. Juliet, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Dyer led the Golden Eagles through four games during the week, batting .444 with a .722 slugging percentage. The rookie scored four runs and drove in five. He went 4-for-5 with three runs scored 2 RBI, a double and a home run on Mar. 23 against Eastern Illinois.

Purity Sanga
Track & Field | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga narrowly missed winning the 1,500-meters at the Vanderbilt Black and Gold Invitational, settling for a runner-up finish with a time of 4:26.32, just two hundredths of a second behind the winner. The second-place finish came among a field fo 76 runners.

Bracton Womack
Golf | SO | McMinnville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Womack became the first Tech men's golfer to claim individual medalist honors since 2007, winning The Grover Page Classic. He helped the Golden Eagles to their first team title since 2015, firing a 214 while racking up 14 birdies in three rounds.

Alyssa Arden
Softball | FR | RHP | Goodlettsville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Arden completed 13.0 scoreless innings in the circle, finishing the week 2-0 with a shutout and a combined shutout. The rookie hurler struck out 14 batters while holding hitters to a .136 batting average and walking just four.

March 4 - March 10

Jason Hinchman
Baseball | SO | INF | Winston, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Hinchman was a best in four games for the Golden Eagles, slashing .538/.647/1.615 while helping Tech to three wins. He smashed four home runs and two doubles while recording nine RBI and scoring nine runs. The slugger also drew three walks and was hit by a pitch.

Raleigh Lewis
Softball | FR | C/1B | Ringgold, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Lewis led the Golden Eagle offense in five games, batting .333 with two home runs and six RBI. She scored three runs as well while drawing three walks. For the week, she slugged .833 while recording an on-base percentage of .467.

February 25 - March 3

Nic Dye
Baseball | JR | LHP | Carrollton, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Dye was a beast out of the bullpen for the Golden Eagles, earning a victory over Youngstown State after tossing five brilliant innings in relief. He did not allow a run or hit against the Penguins, tying his career-high mark of eight strikeouts.

Alyssa Arden
Softball | FR | RHP | Goodlettsville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Arden tossed the 17th no-hitter in program history against Alabama State, putting a cap on a great week that saw her toss 14 innings without allowing an earned run. She also recorded a complete-game shutout against Western Illinois. For the week, she struck out 14 batters.

February 18 - February 24

Anthony Carrera
Baseball | JR | OF | Gainesville, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Carrera became just the fourth Golden Eagle in the past 25 years to hit for the cycle, finishing 4-for-4 on Sunday at South Alabama. He hit .500 for the weekend, driving in a pair and scoring twice while slugging 1.000.

Purity Sanga
Track & Field | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga was absolutley dominant at the OVC Championships in Birmingham, claiming individual titles in the mile run, 3,000-meters and 5,000-meters. She also helped the distance medley relay team to a first-place finish and earned Athlete of the Championship honors.

Caleb Morgan
Baseball | JR | RHP | Grenada, Miss.

Week's Achievements: Morgan turned in a great start in his Golden Eagle debut, tossing five innings without allowing a run in Tech's season-opener against Western Illinois. He struck out eight while limiting the Leathernecks to just four baserunners in his first win in the purple and gold.

Kentoria Alexander
Basketball | SR | G | Tullahoma, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Alexander led the Golden Eagles in scoring through two games, averaging 12.0 points per game while shooting 50 percent from 3-point range. She turned in nine points and three boards against Jacksonville State and 15 points and four rebounds against Belmont.

Courtney Alexander II
Basketball | SR | F | Mableton, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Alexander turned in the best performance of his career at Southeat Missouri, scoring a career-high 20 points with 13 rebounds. He followed it up with six points and 11 more boards at UT Martin, averaging a double-double for the weekend.

Mackenzie Coleman
Basketball | SO | F | Edmonton, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Coleman capped a huge road win at UT Martin with her one of her best showings in a Golden Eagle uniform, pouring in a career-high 26 points with 10 rebounds and five blocks for her first double-double of the season. She scored 14 points earlier in the week at Southeast Missouri.

Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay again paced the Tech offense in two games, averaging 18.0 points and six assists. He scored 14 points with seven dimes against Austin Peay. The poing guard then went toe-to-toe with Murray State's Ja Morant, totaling 22 points and five assists.

Kentoria Alexander
Basketball | SR | G | Tullahoma, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Alexander was efficient in two games, averaging 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals. She posted 14 points, six boards and four dimes against Austin Peay. The senior then dropped 16 points with seven rebounds and four helpers against Murray State.

Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay put the Golden Eagle offense on his back, averaging 24.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He scored a career-high 26 points at Morehead State, then flirted with a triple-double at Eastern Kentucky, posting 22 points, nine boards and eight assists.

Purity Sanga
Track & Field | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga recorded two times faster than anyone else in the OVC season at the Indiana Relays. She broke her own program record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:46.31 and followed it up with a 4:54.55 mark in the mile, the only sub-five minute time in the OVC this year.

Corey Tillery
Basketball | JR | G | Atlanta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Tillery averaged 14.0 points over two games while starting for an injured Jr. Clay, finding his 3-point range with little trouble. The junior sank 8-of-13 attempts from deep, including a 6-for-10 showing on his way to 20 points against Tennessee State.

Anacia Wilkinson
Basketball | JR | F | Houston, Texas

Week's Achievements: Wilkinson was a force in the paint over two games, averaging 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game. She just missed a triple-double against Tennessee State, posting 12 points with 10 boards and a whopping nine rejections.

Hunter Vick
Basketball | R-FR | G | Camden, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Vick led the Golden Eagles in scoring in back-to-back games, averaging 19.0 points for the week. He scored 18 in Tech's win over SIUE, sinking three triples with six rebounds. He notched his fifth 20-point performance of the year against Eastern Illinois.

Jordan Brock
Basketball | SO | G | Harlan, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Brock continued her hot start to OVC play, averaging 26.5 points per game while hitting 14 triples. She scored 20 points with six threes against SIUE. She followed it up with a career-high 33 points and eight treys in Tech's win over Eastern Illinois.

Jr. Clay
Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay averaged 17.5 points and 2.5 rebounds while helping Tech kick off OVC play 1-1. At Tennessee State, the rookie poured in a season-high 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting. For the week, he shot over 54 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range.

Jordan Brock
Basketball | SO | G | Harlan, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Brock made her shots count in helping Tech to a 2-0 start to OVC play, averaging 16.0 points on 66.7 percent shooting. She scored 14 points at TSU before scoring 18 with a 4-for-4 showing from 3-point range at Belmont, helping Tech snap the Bruins' 47-game OVC win streak.

December 24 - December 30

Jr. Clay
Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay found success against No. 3 Tennessee, scoring a team-high 16 points while making his fourth start of the season. He hit six of his nine attempts from the floor and led the Golden Eagles with five asists and three steals while playing 32 minutes.

Akia Harris
Basketball | JR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Harris dropped a season-high 19 points to lead the Golden Eagles to a victory over Tennessee Wesleyan, sinking 6-of-7 tries from the free-throw line. She hauled in five rebounds, dished out four assists, posted two steals and blocked a shot in the victory.

Hunter Vick
Basketball | R-FR | G | Camden, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Vick paced the Golden Eagles in its victory over Savannah State, tying his season-high with 22 points on 8-for-16 shooting. He found expanded range, hitting four 3-pointers, including some from NBA range. He added three rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Kesha Brady
Basketball | SO | G | Smyrna, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Brady averaged 10.5 points on efficient shooting while leading Tech to a pair of wins, shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the charity stripe. She led the Tech effort against UNC Asheville, scoring a team-high 14 points off the bench.

December 10 - December 16

Jr. Clay
Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay stuffed the stats sheet in Tech's contest at
Kennesaw State, finishing the contest with 16 points, six assists, five rebounds,
and a season-high five steals. He finished the game 6-of-11 from the floor while
playing 32 minutes off the bench.

December 3 - December 9

Corey Tillery
Basketball | JR | G | Atlanta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Tillery made Tech history over the week, setting the program and tying the OVC record for 3-pointers in a single game with 10 against Warren Wilson. He shot 71.4 percent from deep, another Tech record with at least 10 attempts and averaged 18.5 points in two games.

Abby Buckner
Basketball | SO | GF | Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Buckner led the Golden Eagles in scoring in their lone contest of the week at Arkansas. She finished with nine points while also hauling in seven rebounds and shooting. The Murfreesboro, Tenn. native led the purple and gold with 38 minutes of action in the contest as well.

November 26 - December 2

Jr. Clay
Basketball | FR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Clay turned in the top two performances of his young career, averaging 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games. He boasted a season-high 20 points and nine boards against Winthrop and followed with 15 points and seven rebounds at Chattanooga.

Taylor Lamb
Basketball | FR | F | Greeneville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Lamb was the offensive key to leading Tech to victory at Wichita State as she led all scorers with a season-high 17 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting from the floor. She added five rebounds and two steals while playing 28 minutes off the bench.

November 19 - November 25

Corey Tillery
Basketball | JR | G | Atlanta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Tillery enjoyed the best game of his Tech career, scoring a team-high 20 points while leading the Golden Eagles to their first win of the season over ULM. The junior drained 5-of-9 attempts from downtown and snagged four rebounds for good measure.

Kesha Brady
Basketball | SO | G | Smyrna, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Brady was a key cog to a 2-1 week for Tech, averaging 16.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game off the bench. She scored 18 points in a win over Western Carolina and followed with 16 more in a victory at Charleston Southern. She tallied 15 in Tech's lone loss of the week.

November 12 - November 18

Micaiah Henry
Basketball | JR | C | Decatur, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Henry averaged 15.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in Tech's three-game road trip for the week. He shot 64.7 percent from the field while tallying back-to-back 20-point outings at Savannah State and at No. 7 ranked North Carolina.

Akia Harris
Basketball | JR | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Harris led the Golden Eagles to their first win over Middle Tennessee in over a decade, posting team-highs of 15 points and eight rebounds in 34 minutes. After the Blue Raiders rallied from an 18-point deficit, Harris scored seven-straight points to give Tech the lead for good.

November 5 - November 11

Shannon Fayne
Football | JR | S | Nashville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Fayne was all over the field in Tech's final road game of the season, making a team-high 13 total tackles against UT Martin. He totaled 10 assists and three solo stops while also recovering a fumble. He made a tackle-for-loss in the game as well for -2 yards.

Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga beat her own program-record for best finish at the NCAA South Region Championships, placing seventh overall and claiming her second straight NCAA Championship bid. She finished the 6K race in a time of 20:43.0 among a field of 208 runners.

October 29 - November 4

Bailey Fisher
Football | FR | QB | Clayton, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Fisher accounted for all three of Tech's touchdowns in the team's 27-24 victory over Murray State on Homecoming. The freshman finished 21-for-34 with 228 yards and two scores through air. He added another 76 yards and a touchdown on the ground for good measure.

Rachel Thomas
Volleyball | JR | MB | Okemos, Mich.

Week's Achievements: Thomas was unstoppable on offense and a wall on defense in helping Tech to a 2-0 weekend. She hit a whopping .442 with 22 kills in eight sets, recording just three attack errors. Thomas also tallied 12 total blocks, finishing the weekend with 29.0 points overall.

Brannon Cheplak
Cross Country | JR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Cheplak paced the Tech men's squad to its best finish at the OVC Championships since 1967, a third-place showing. The junior finished 10th overall with a time of 24:48.9, earning an All-OVC Second Team bid for his efforts.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga became just the second Tech female runner ever to win the OVC Championships, pacing the field with a time of 17:01.7 and winning by nearly 15 seconds. She captured Female Athlete of the Championships and All-OVC First Team honors for her performance.

Gonzalo Garcia
Tennis | SO | Barcelona, Spain

Week's Achievements: Garcia made an impressive run in the A Singles Draw of the Louisville Invitational, advancing all the way to the final. He won his first three matches of the tournament before falling in a three-set thriller. He also earned a doubles win at the event with teammate Carlos Vicente.

Lindsay Miller
Golf | SR | Nashville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Miller tied for sixth place at the Fred Marx Invitational while enjoying her most successful round in the purple and gold. In the second roun, she fired a career-low, 4-under 68, the lowest score of the tournament. She finished with a 148 in the rain-shortened event.

October 8 - October 14

Brannon Cheplak
Cross Country | JR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Cheplak was instrumental in helping the Golden Eagles to an impressive runner-up finish at the UAB Blazer Classic, placing sixth individually. He turned in the second-fastest 8K of his career, finishing at 24:35.06, which marked the second-best time of any Tech runner this year.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga continued her steady improvment into one of the best runners in the country, claiming first place at the UAB Blazer Classic. She posted the second-fastest 6K of her career, finishing at 20:28.56, beating the field by a whopping 26 seconds overall.

October 1 - October 7

Rafael Tosetto
Tennis | FR | Jacareí, Brazil

Week's Achievements: Tosetto put together a magical run at the ITA Men's All-American Championships, winning six straight matches to advance through pre-qualifying and finish just one win away from earning a bid into the main draw. He won two matches in the qualifying draw.

Kari Naerdemann
Soccer | SR | GK | Herne, Germany

Week's Achievements: Naerdemann was a rock in net for the Golden Eagles, notching two shutouts while making a whopping 17 saves to help Tech go 1-0-1 during the week. She made 10 stops in a win over Belmont and followed it up with seven monster stops in a scoreless draw against SEMO.

September 24 - September 30

Bailey Fisher
Football | FR | QB | Clayton, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Fisher put together a breakout performance against Eastern Illinois, completing 27-of-41 passes for 383 yards and four touchdowns. His 383 yards through the air were the most ever by a true freshman at Tech while his four scores tied for second in school history.

Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: For the third straight week, Sanga broke her own program record for the 5K, racing to a third place finish at the Greater Louisville Classic in a time of 16:41.3. It marked her second career sub-17-minute 5K of the year, the only two in school history.

Sammy Kipkirui
Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Kipkirui turned in a runner-up performance at the Mountain Dew Invitational, setting a career-best with a time of 24:27.74 in the 8K. It marked his second sub-25-minute time and ranked as the seventh fastest 8K time in program history.

Week's Achievements: Sanga followed up her record-breaking performance from a week ago by shattering her own program mark, finishing second overall at the Moutain Dew Invitational with a time of 16:41.58, more than 39 seconds faster than her previous time.

Nick Madonia
Football | SR | K | Arrington, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Madonia set a career-high at Utah State, connecting for four field goal on five tries. He drained a 54-yard attempt, the second-longest in school history, in the first quarter. He went on make tries from 20, 23 and 45 yards as well.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga continued her impressive start to the 2018 campaign, shattering the school's 5K record at the Commodore Classic with a time of 17:20.7, more than nine seconds better than the previous mark. She finished second overall in the event.

September 3 - September 9

Sammy Kipkirui
Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Kipkirui claimed first place at the Golden Eagle Invitational, beating out a pair of runners from Ohio State by eight seconds with a time of 20:24.7. It marked the first career win for the sophomore, who finished seventh in last year's event.

Cross Country | SO | Kapsabet, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga dominated the field on her way to a first-place showing at the Golden Eagle Invitational. The sophomore finished with a time of 17:50.5, nearly a full minute and 20 seconds faster than second place, to earn her first career win.

Josh Poplar
Football | R-JR | LB | Knoxville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Poplar notched his first career touchdown in Tech's season-opener at Chattanooga, running back an interception for six points. He finished the contest, his first action in over a year, with a team-high eight tackles.

Kendall Powell
Soccer | SO | F | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Powell became the first Golden Eagle to record a hat trick since 2009 and just the fourth in program history, scoring three times in a 4-0 win at Purdue Fort Wayne. She took home OVC Player of the Week honors for her efforts. 

August 20 - August 26

Susie Jeziorowski
Volleyball | SR | S | Green Lake, Wis.

Week's Achievements: Jeziorowski compiled a whopping 142 assists in three matches,
helping Tech to a 2-1 start to the year. She recorded at least 45 assists in each match and
also totaled five service aces and six blocks during the weekend.  

August 13 - August 19

Kendall Powell
Soccer | SO | F | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Powell scored the Golden Eagle squad's first goal of the year,
a marker in the 81st minute, at Georgia State. The goal proved enough to be the
game-winner and set up Tech with a 1-0 start to the season.
