Tennessee Tech selects a Male and Female Athlete of the Week throughout the athletic season
to recognize outstanding performances by Golden Eagle student-athletes.

Brennon Kaleiwahea
Baseball | SR | C | Lacey, Wash.

Week's Achievements: Kaleiwahea turned in a stellar week, helping Tech to a midweek win at Vanderbilt and sweep of Eastern Kentucky. The senior hit .643 with seven runs scored, two doubles, a triple, a home run and five RBI. He slugged 1.143 and posted a .706 on base percentage.

Micayla Rennick
Track & Field | SR | Sacramento, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Rennick claimed OVC Female Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year honors before dominating the OVC Championships to earn to Female Athlete of the Championship honor. She placed first in the 1500m and 10,000m runs and finished second in the 800m and 5000m races.

April 30 - May 6

Alex Hursey
Baseball | JR | LHP | Summerville, S.C.

Week's Achievements: Hursey was brilliant in helping Tech secure at least a share of the OVC regular season championship, tossing a complete-game shutout at Belmont. The southpaw retired 12 of the last 14 batters he faced while earning his seventh win of the season and striking out two batters with zero walks.

D'Airrien Jackson
Track & Field | JR | Santa Clara, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Jackson put on a fantastic display at the Tennessee Challenge, dominating the 400m dash and 400m hurdles. She placed first in the 400m dash with a season-best tim eof 53.62. She also claimed the top finish in the 400m hurdles, setting a program record with a time of 1:01.80.

April 23 - April 29

Will Brooks
Golf | FR | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Brooks capped off a stellar freshman campaign by earning All-Tournament honors at the OVC Championships. The rookie tied for fifth overall in the 55-man field, leading the Golden Eagles to a fifth-place finish. He carded a 72-73-74=219 in the event, finishing just three strokes over par.

D'Airrien Jackson
Track & Field | JR | Santa Clara, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Jackson participated in four events at the Lenny Lyles / Clark Wood Invitational at Kentucky, finishing no lower than fifth. She placed second in the 400m dash and third in the 200m dash with a personal best time of 24.25. She also helped Tech win the 4x400m relay and finish fifth in the 4x100m relay.

April 16 - April 22

Chase Chambers
Baseball | SR | INF | Farragut, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Chambers stayed red hot while leading the Golden Eagles to five more wins, batting .600 with an on base percentage of .950. The senior totaled 11 RBI and nine runs on the power of two long balls and a double. In a doubleheader with SIU, he finished 6-for-7 with seven RBI.

Khemani Roberts
Track & Field | JR | Bon Accord, Trinidad & Tobago

Week's Achievements: Roberts rewrote the Golden Eagle record books at the Virginia Challenge, breaking three program marks in the long jump, heptathlon and high jump. She placed first in the high jump and third in the heptathlon while posting the top five marks in the OVC on the year in all three events.

April 9 - April 15

John Ham
Baseball | JR | INF | Deerfield Beach, Fla.

Week's Achievements: Ham turned in another stellar week at the dish, batting .533 with a 1.133 slugging percentage and .650 on base percentage. He scored nine runs and rove in nine as well, smacking two home runs, a triple and a double while leading Tech to four more wins.

Raegan Sparks
Softball | SO | OF | Indianapolis, Ind.

Week's Achievements: Sparks showed off her power in a two-game sweep of Murray State, batting .667 with a monster 2.167 slugging percentage. She crushed three home runs on the way to six RBI, including the game-tying, three-run shot in the fifth frame of the second contest.

April 2 - April 8

David Garza
Baseball | SR | INF | Othello, Wash.

Week's Achievements: Garza posted a huge week offensivley while helping Tech continue its winning streak, batting .462 with five runs scored, two home runs and 11 RBI in four games. He posted 10 RBI in the series sweep against Jacksonville State, including a grand slam in the finale.

Taylor Waldrop
Softball | SR | RHP | Canon, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Waldrop was phenominal for the Golden Eagles while helping Tech to a 3-1 weekend in OVC play, tossing two complete-game shutouts. She struck out eight batters with just two walks in 12 innings of work. The senior scattered nine hits throughout the game, picking up two wins on the weekend.

March 26 - April 1

Ethan Roberts
Baseball | JR | RHP | Sparta, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Roberts earned his sixth save of the season while completing the final three and third innings in Tech's series-opening victory over Eastern Illinois. The junior struck out the first five batters he faced and finished with seven total. He allowed just three baserunners and single run.

Micayla Rennick
Track & Field | SR | Sacramento, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Rennick posted a top-10 finish in the 1500m run at the Pepsi Florida Relays, setting a program record with a time of 4:20.92. She also set a new personal record in the 800m run with a mark of 2:09.37. She placed 27th overall in the 800m run.

March 19 - March 25

Kevin Strohschein
Baseball | JR | OF | McDonough, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Strohschein was a one-man wrecking crew while hitting .471 with seven runs and 10 RBI in four games. The junior hammered a double and four home runs while slugging 1.235 and helping Tech extend its winnings streak to nine straight games. He also posted a .500 on base percentage.

Allyson Dunn
Golf | SR | Kingsport, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Dunn continued to dominate the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, earning her second top-five finish in as many years with a third-place showing. She took home All-Tournament honors after finishing the event with a season-best 222 behind rounds of 70, 77 and 75.

March 12 - March 18

Alex Hursey
Baseball | JR | LHP | Summerville, S.C.

Week's Achievements: Hursey tossed eight shutout innings on his way to a midweek victory over preseason ranked West Virginia. The junior allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out eight batters, retiring the final 16 he faced in the contest. Tech won in an 8-0 shutout.

Hallie Davis
Softball | JR | INF | Charleston, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Davis batted .389 in six games during the week, collecting seven hits in 18 at bats. The junior drove in four runs on the power of a double and two home runs, while also scoring four. She delivered a walk-off double to help Tech defeat Eastern Michigan on Sunday.

March 5 - March 11

John Ham
Baseball | JR | INF | Deerfield Beach, Fla.

Week's Achievements: Ham put on a power display over the week, smashing four home runs and a double while batting .400 with a 1.267 slugging percentage and .550 on-base percentage. He scored eight runs and drove in seven while helping turn five double plays on the defense.

Bayli Cruse
Softball | SR | C/1B | Cohutta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Cruse was impressive at the plate in helping Tech to two victories over the weekend, batting .556 with two runs scored and three RBI. She posted a .778 slugging percentage thanks to a pair of doubles. In Tech's second victory, she scored the game-winning run.

February 26 - March 4 

Cody Littlejohn
Baseball | SO | INF | Decatur, Ala.

Week's Achievements: Littlejohn enjoyed the best week at the plate of his young career, batting .455 with six runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, 11 RBI, a 1.273 slugging percentage and .500 on base percentage. In Tech's midweek win over Lipscomb, he smacked three doubles and a grand slam on his way to eight RBI.

Raegan Sparks
Softball | SO | UTL | Indianapolis, Ind.

Week's Achievements: Sparks was impressive at the plate in four games over the weekend, hitting .500 with five runs scored, a double, two home runs and nine RBI. Raising her batting average to above .400 for the year, she finished 4-for-7 in Tech's doubleheader against Samford, driving in seven runs.

February 19 - February 25

Trevor Putzig
Baseball | SR | INF | Louisville, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Putzig went nuts at the plate in three games against Illinois State, hitting .727 with nine runs scored, a double, four home runs, eight RBI, a 1.909 slugging percentage and .812 on base percentage. In one of the Tech victories, he tied a program single-game record with three home runs.

Micayla Rennick
Track & Field | SR | Sacramento, Calif.

Week's Achievements: After being named the OVC Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, Rennick backed up the honor with three first-place finishes at the OVC Indoor Championships. While leading Tech to its first even OVC Indoor title, she claimed OVC Indoor Women's Athlete of the Championship honors.

February 12 - February 18

John Ham
Baseball | JR | INF | Deerfield Beach, Fla.

Week's Achievements: Ham made the most of his Tech debut, batting .500 with five RBI and five runs while helping Tech to a 2-1 series win over Little Rock. The junior finished with four extra base hits, a 1.083 slugging percentage and .538 on base percentage. He hit the game-winning three-run home run in the season-opening victory.

Bayli Cruse
Softball | SR | C | Cohutta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Cruse put on a show at the Chattanooga Classic, batting .500 with a slugging percentage of .722 and on base percentage of .526. The senior drove in eight runs in five games while scoring five as well. She finished 3-for-4 with five RBI and a three-run home run in Tech's second victory over Western Kentucky.

February 5 - February 11

Eduardo Mena
Tennis | SR | Bultrago del Lozoya, Spain

Week's Achievements: Mena, ranked the No. 54 singles player in the nation, earned boths singles and doubles victories in helping Tech to a 4-3 win over Lipscomb. He defeated Alejandro Manzanares in No. 1 singles 6-0, 5-7, 6-1 and then claimed a doubles win with teammate Gonzalo Garcia, 6-4.

D'Airrien Jackson
Track & Field | JR | Santa Clara, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Jackson turned in the OVC's top time in 400-meter this year with a time of 52.84 at the Tyson Invitational. The time also ranked as the 12th best in the nation and earned her a sixth-place finish in the event. She also posted the third-best 200-meter time in the OVC this year with a time of 28.28.

January 29 - February 4

Shaq Calhoun
Basketball | GR | G | Rome, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Calhoun averaged 19.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range in two games. At SIUE, he recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. He followed it with a team-high 23 points on 6-for-8 shooting from downtown at Eastern Illinois.

Abby Buckner
Basketball | FR | G | Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Buckner turned in the best showing of her young Golden Eagle career in helping lead Tech to victory at Eastern Illinois. Making her third career start, the guard set career-highs with 35 minutes, 14 points and eight rebounds while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 60 percent from beyond the arc. She also assisted on the game-winning bucket.

January 22 - January 28

Shaq Calhoun
Basketball | GR | G | Rome, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Calhoun played a pivotal role in helping Tech to two victories, averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting 50 percent from the field. Against UT Martin, the graduate transfer made a key steal and block in the closing minutes to help seal the victory. He recorded 14 points, six boards and three assists in the Tech victory over Southeast Missouri.

Khemani Roberts
Track & Field | JR | Bon Accord, Trinidad & Tobago

Week's Achievements: Roberts broke three school records at the Fred Wilt Open, starting with a championship run at the pentathlon. She also claimed first-place finishes and program marks in the high jump and long jump at the event. The transfer helped Tech to a first-place finish in the 4X400m relay. Her efforts also helped the Golden Eagle program rise eighth in the USTFCCCA South Region rankings.

January 15 - January 21

Kajon Mack
Basketball | GR | G | Los Angeles, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Mack was the lead man in Tech's comeback victory at Eastern Kentucky while averaging 11.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games over the weekend. At EKU, Mack scored a team-high 17 points while finishing a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line. He converted six straight free throws to give Tech a 70-67 win.

Anacia Wilkinson
Basketball | SO | F | Houston, Texas

Week's Achievements: Wilkinson made a big impact in her return from injury, averaging five points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in her first action of the 2017-18 season. Making her season debut, she played 18 minutes at EKU, scoring eight points off the bench and adding three boards and four blocks. 

January 8 - January 14

Curtis Phillips Jr.
Basketball | SR | F | Memphis, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Phillips helped the Golden Eagles hand Austin Peay its first OVC loss of the season while averaging 16.0 points 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in two games. He led all scorers with 26 against the Govs, hitting 8-of-12 shots while adding six boards and two steals. He also hit 3-of-4 attempts from downtown.

D'Airrien Jackson
Track & Field | JR | Santa Clara, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Jackson took first in the 400 meters at the Commodore Invitational with a time of 53.57. That time ranks first in the OVC and second in the nation. She also placed fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 24.90. Jackson ran a leg of the 4x400 meter relay that finished in third with a time of 3:43.43. 

January 1 - January 7

Shaq Calhoun
Basketball | GR | G | Rome, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Calhoun turned in two stellar performances, averaging 18.5 points while hitting 58.8 percent of his 3-point attempts in a road trip to Nashville. He knocked down a whopping six triples for a TTU career-high 23 points in Tech's overtime victory at Tennessee State, hitting the game-tying trey with 12.1 seconds to play. He also scored 14 points at Belmont.

Micayla Rennick
Track & Field | SR | Sacramento, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Rennick kicked off 2018 with a fantastic showing at the Orange & Purple Classic hosted by Clemson. The senior captured a first-place finish in her first try at the 5,000-meter run of the season, clocking a time of17:12.98, over a full minute faster than the next highest finisher. She also placed second in the 800-meters with a time of 2:18.07.

December 25 - December 31

Aleksa Jugovic
Basketball | SR | G | Leskovac, Serbia

Week's Achievements: Jugovic was a man on a mission in helping Tech to a 2-0 start to OVC play, averaging 19.0 points, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game on 54.5 percent shooting from deep. Against EKU, he exploded for 28 points behind a 5-for-8 performance from downtown. He tallied 10 points and seven assists against Morehead State.

Akia Harris
Basketball | SO | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Harris was a floor general in Tech's OVC-opening week, averaging 17.0 points, 4.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Against Morehad State, she scored 12 points, dished out six assists and grabbed four boards. She followed the showing with 22 points and three steals on 5-for-5 shooting from deep against EKU.

December 18 - December 24

Kajon Mack
Basketball | GR | G | Los Angeles, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Mack scored a team-high 14 points on the road at legendary Assembly Hall against Indiana. The veteran guard shot 50 percent from the field, sinking 6-of-12 attempts while also hauling in five rebounds and dishing out two assists. He finished 2-for-3 from downtown and blocked a shot as well.

Jordan Brock
Basketball | FR | G | Harlan, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Brock fired on all cylinders in two games, averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists. The rookie tallied 15 points in Tech's victory over Winthrop, finishing 5-of-8 from 3-point range and grabbing six rebounds. She followed it up with 12 points, including three triples, against Lipscomb.

December 11 - December 17

Aleksa Jugovic
Basketball | SR | G | Leskovac, Serbia

Week's Achievements: Jugovic gave the Golden Eagles a scoring lift, leading Tech to
victory over in-state rival Chattanooga with a game-high 21 points. The senior shot over
50 percent from the floor and sank all but on of his eight free-throw attempts.

December 4 - December 10

Kajon Mack
Basketball | GR | G | Los Angeles, Calif.

Week's Achievements: Mack averaged 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Golden Eagles over the week, making his prescence felt on the offense glass with a team-high seven offensive rebounds. He shot over 40 percent from the field and 80 percent from the charity stripe while averaging 37.0 minutes per game.

Yaktavia "Shug" Hickson
Basketball | SR | G | Atlanta, Ga.

Week's Achievements: Hickson became the 30th Golden Eagle in program history to record 1,000 points, scoring a season-high 17 in Tech's win over Cumberland. She averaged 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in Tech's two contests during the week, posting seven board in the victory over the Phoenix.

November 27 - December 3

Stephaun Adams
Basketball | JR | G | St. Thomas, Virgin Islands

Week's Achievements: Adams turned in a career night in leading the Golden Eagles to a win over in-state rival Lipscomb, scoring a career-high 15 points with six rebounds and a steal in the victory. He averaged 8.5 points and five rebounds on 50 percent shooting in two games on the week.

Kesha Brady
Basketball | FR | G | Smyrna, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Brady put up strong numbers in three games for the Golden Eagles, averaging 12.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game. She scored 18 points with three steals at Wright State before posting 10 points and a career-high nine rebounds at Kentucky.

November 20 - November 26

Aleksa Jugovic
Basketball | SR | G | Leskovac, Serbia

Week's Achievements: Jugovic led the Golden Eagles to a 3-0 mark and Emerald Coast Classic title while averaging 19.3 points on 68.8 percent shooting from deep. Against New Mexico, he poured in career-high 31 points on 7-for-7 shooting from 3-point range, setting two Tech records.

Akia Harris
Basketball | SO | G | Chattanooga, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Harris did a little of everything in Tech's only contest during the week, scoring seven points on 2-for-5 shooting and snagging six total rebounds against Radford. She added an assist and a steal in 30 minutes of action.

November 13 - November 19

Curtis Phillips Jr.
Basketball | SR | F | Memphis, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Phillips Jr. averaged a team-high 15 points per game while helping Tech to a 2-1 mark over the week. He shot over 43 percent from the field and dished out 14 assists. He also tallied 11 rebounds, three blocks and seven steals.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | FR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga became the first-ever Tennessee Tech runner, male or female, to compete at the NCAA Championships. The 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Freshman of the Year clocked in with a time of 21:48.00. 

November 6 - November 12

Curtis Phillips Jr.
Basketball | SR | F | Memphis, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Phillips Jr. led the Golden Eagles in scoring in their season-opening victory over Midway, pouring in 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting. He added six rebounds and three assists in the contest as well, all while playing just 19 minutes.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | FR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga led the Golden Eagles at the NCAA South Regional, earning All-South Region honors after placing eighth with a time of 20:16.4. Her performance earned her an at-large bid to the national championship, becoming Tech's first-ever participant.

October 30 - November 5

Will Brooks
Golf | FR | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Brooks garnered his first career All-Tournament honor with a third-place showing at the MTSU Intercollegiate, helping lead Tech to a second-place finish. He broke the program's freshman scoring mark with a 6-under 66 in the second round.

Kirsten Brugere
Volleyball | JR | L | St. Charles, Mo.

Week's Achievements: Brugere posted 36 total digs over two matches, averaging six digs per set while also recording her 900th career dig as a Golden Eagle. The junior also posted a career-high two kills out of the libero position against Morehead State.

October 23 - October 29

Aderick Moore
Football | SO | LB | Selma, Ala.

Week's Achievements: Moore was a force on the gridiron in leading Tech to its first win of the year. He piled up 12 tackles, including a whopping five for loss, the second most in a game nationally this season. He also posted two sacks and forced a fumble.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | FR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga turned in another stellar performance, placing sixth at the OVC Championships with the best time among all freshmen in the league. She turned in a season-best 17:31.0 to pace the Golden Eagles.

October 16 - October 22

Eduardo Mena
Tennis | SR | Bultrago del Lozoya, Spain

Week's Achievements: Mena turned another fantastic showing on the courts, garnering four singles victories on his way to the quarterfinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. He also claimed a doubles victory on the weekend.

Kendall Powell
Soccer | FR | F | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Powell notched her team-high fourth goal of the season in helping the Golden Eagles clinch the No. 2 seed in the OVC Tournament with a 1-0 win over UT Martin in the regular-season finale at Tech Soccer Field.

October 9 - October 15

Eduardo Mena
Tennis | SR | Bultrago del Lozoya, Spain

Week's Achievements: Mena continued to make program and conference history, advancing to the quarterfinals of the ITA Men's All-American Championships after boasting victories over the No. 2 & No. 16 ranked players in the nation.

Karigan Owens
Soccer | SR | D | La Grange, Ky.

Week's Achievements: Owens proved a factor on both sides of the ball in Tech's two wins over the weekend, playing all 180 minutes in two Golden Eagle shutouts. She added a goal and an assist in the team's 2-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky.

October 2 - October 8

Andrew Goldsmith
Football | SO | RB | Jackson, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Goldsmith put together a career night while toting the rock for the Golden Eagles, posting a career-high 121 yards on the ground at Eastern Illinois. He averaged 7.6 yards on 16 carries while adding two catches for 12 yards.

Kari Naerdemann
Soccer | JR | GK | Herne, Germany

Week's Achievements: Naerdemann notched back-to-back shutouts on the road at SIUE and Eastern Illinois, making six total saves in the two matches. She now owns seven shutouts on the year, tying her own mark for third in single-season program history.

September 25 - October 1

Gilbert Boit
Cross Country | SO | Eten, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Boit captured yet another individual first-place finish, this time at the Sam Bell Invitational hosted by Indiana. The sophomore finished with a time of 24:39.59 in the 8K race, giving him three first-place finishes in as many meets this year.

Mayra Tarraga Manzanal
Soccer | JR | MF | Gerona, Spain

Week's Achievements: Tarraga Manzanal helped lead Tech to a perfect 2-0 weekend with wins at Belmont and against Austin Peay. The junior tallied five points behind two goals and assist, including the game-winner against the Govs on Sunday.

September 18 - September 24

Gilbert Boit
Cross Country | SO | Eten, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Boit claimed an indvidual first-place finish at the Mountain Dew Invitational, his second win in as many events this season. Finishing at 24:30.9, he now owns five of the top six times in the 8K in program history.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | FR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga continued her incredible start to her Tech career, placing third out of 285 runners at the Mountain Dew Invitational. Her time of 17:46.8 represents the fifth-fastest in the 5K in school history, a week after turning in the third-best time.

September 11 - September 17

Nick Madonia
Football | JR | K | Arrington, Ala.

Week's Achievements: Madonia let his leg do the talking during Tech's contest at Ball State, finishing 2-for-2 on field goals and connecting on his lone PAT try. He also averaged 46 yards on four punts, pinning the Cardinals inside the 20-yard line twice.

Purity Sanga
Cross Country | FR | Eldoret, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Sanga made her Golden Eagle debut a great one, finishing a stunning sixth out of 176 runners at the Commodore Classic. The freshman runner clocked in a time of 17:38.1 in the 5K, the third-best mark in school history.

September 4 - September 10

Aderick Moore
Football | SO | LB | Selma, Ala.

Week's Achievements: Moore was all over the field for the Golden Eagles in their contest at Kennesaw State, making a game-high and career-high 13 tackles, including and impressive 10 solo stops. He also recorded his first sack of the 2017 campaign.

Shealene Little
Volleyball | JR | OH | Culver, Ore.

Week's Achievements: Little showed a knack for the attack in Tech's tournament action in Dayton, Ohio, posting 32 kills and 25 digs in 10 sets with a .228 attack percentage. She hit .350 against West Virginia in the team's first action of the weekend.

August 28 - September 3

Gilbert Boit
Cross Country | SO | Eten, Kenya

Week's Achievements: Boit took home a first place finish at the Golden Eagle Invitational presented by Hometown IGA, defending his 2016 individual title. He crossed the finish line in 18:52.8, just over 47 seconds faster than the next finisher.

Kendall Powell
Soccer | FR | F | Cookeville, Tenn.

Week's Achievements: Powell recorded her first collegiate goal in just her fourth career match, firing the game-winner against Georgia State in the 27th minute. She boasted a team-high four shots on goal in the match, more than double any other player.

Week's Achievements: Houck led the team with 10 kills with a .412 hitting percentage
in the Golden Eagles' season-opener, a 3-0 win over NC Central. She added two service
aces on her way to earning OVC Newcomer of the Week honors.

Week's Achievements: Naerdemann earned her first shutout of the season at ETSU,
making eight saves for a 1-0 Tech victory. She also held Vanderbilt scoreless through
regulation in the season-opener, before allowing a goal in overtime.
