Akia Harris was named the recipient of the Comeback Athlete of the Year award. After undergoing off-season surgery to remove a blood clot, Harris returned to the court in time for the 2017-18 season, leading the Golden Eagles in minutes (34.0 per game) and ranking ninth in the OVC with 3.6 assists per game.
